My Sophie - my beautiful 13-year-old niece sang Taylor Swift's 'Love Story' in her School Talent Competition tonight and she was awesome. There I was, back in my old school, cheering the niece on...

The same niece who, I reminded one of my teachers (Ms. Page) tonight, that I HOUNDED her in my Business Studies class to phone my Mum every five minutes to see if Le Soph was indeed born. And here she was tonight. SINGING.

And Christie. In the background. Squeeing. And wooting and making everybody laugh while Sophie blushed terribly and made my heart squeeze with pure joy.

My girls, man! I <3 my girls. They make me so proud! And I am full of aunty-type-squishy-love for them because--AWWWWWWW.

I am pretty darn good, wishing we had more summer here in Boston though! Boo hiss to the rain and cloudy weather. How's you?

Aww, I hate weather like that. It's been like that here today even though it's Mid-July and supposed to be Summer too.

I'm marvellous! Just watched a moooovie. Push, with Chris Evans, which was pretty damn good! :) Debating whether I should eat something or not. :p

I wasn't sure whether I was supposed to be creeped out by the on-screen chemistry she had with Chris Evans or not though, lol. But a friend of mine said that as well so I'm not going to hell just yet. *G*

It helped that she seemed a bit older in this. My how she's grown! :) I remember her in War of the Worlds, she was still a kiddy-kid in that!
